RYA DIESEL ENGINE COURSE
The aim of this 1 day course is to provide an awareness of a marine diesel engine and enable you to be more self sufficient. It will give you the ability to take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and rectify defects which do not require workshop support. Mechanical failure is the main cause of RNLI Lifeboat callouts and basic maintenance and engine care covered during the day may ensure you do not become a RNLI statistic.
